The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College is a modern large-scale public hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research and preventive health care, sponsored by Shantou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government and donated by Mr. Li Jiacheng, a well-known patriot of Hong Kong. There are 36 clinical departments and 14 medical and technical departments. Among them, the inpatient department building adopts 8 RMRB-25SR-2D heat pump hot water units from Guangzhou Ruim Company. It provides more than 150 tons of hot water for domestic shower every day to meet the hospital's domestic hot water demand.
